Primarily facilitated at health fairs, Depression Screening is a BMHA outreach program provided free to the public and is designed to educate people about the importance of self-care. It is not an attempt to offer a diagnosis, but rather an opportunity to identify symptoms of depression, to enlighten and present resource information. Contact us for more information or to schedule a BMHA representative at your community event.
BMHA participates in health fairs throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore – Washington DC region. This is an opportunity for community members to receive information regarding BMHA’s programs and services, as well as community behavioral health resources. BMHA offers referrals to its membership of culturally competent, patient and community behavioral health providers. This free service may include referrals for clinical services and speakers for workshops, trainings and symposiums.
